Hi, I'm Lucy!

I am the owner and creator of Positively Simple - living, learning, leading, a holistic and personalised service that you have probably never seen before! And this only makes it extra special!

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and I come from a very mixed-origin family, from English to Italian, French, Portuguese and even a little bit of German. I feel like anywhere could be home. My family and I settled in London in 2019 and then we moved to Southampton during the pandemic, in July 2020.

I’ve always believed that the more I learn, the more I can give. That’s why ongoing training, education, and personal development are part of who I am. My journey in education began back in 2004, when I was just 19. I had the privilege of working at some of the most respected British, American, and Canadian international schools in São Paulo, Brazil. Those years taught me so much...not only about child development and learning, but also about cooperation, family support, and connection. Each school helped shape the educator I am today, and I carry those lessons into every workshop, course, and mentoring session I now offer parents, caregivers, and fellow educators.

• C2 Proficiency - Cambridge English Qualification (that doesn't mean my English is perfect! lol)

• Level 3 Professional Organiser

• Certified Montessori at Home Practitioner

• Trained in Introduction to Family Engagement in Education (Harvard University)

• Member of the Positive Discipline® Association

• Montessori Parenting Consultant and co-creator of Aim Parenting, part of Aim - Authentic Institute of Montessori, a Montessori teacher training centre based in Montana, US that offers trainings and services globally. AIM is now IMT - Institute of Montessori Training.

After leaving teaching in the UK in 2020, I explored different industries in leadership roles, including a fun period of time at Madame Tussaud’s London. No matter the setting, I always found myself stepping into the role of educator. My passion for education and early childhood only grew, but I knew I wanted to support families beyond the classroom. In 2022, I founded Positively Simple – a space to bring meaningful, purposeful learning to everyday life.

Being able to help people re-love their living spaces, simplify their routine and regain time to live meaningful experiences is what makes my work so rewarding!
